Just came back from the eye check-up, and it's confirmed that my blood pressure is higher than normal. haiz. then the lecturer asked me to go for this vision field test to test how far my eye can see. cos when people have glaucoma, the side vision will be affected, then slowly it will move towards the centre vision, by then, you can only see a tiny bit of what's in front of you. at first the test was quite fun, when you see flashes of light, you click a mouse, but after a while, it gets quite boring. apparently, there's one corner which my eyes cant detect the light. haiz, maybe it's due to tiredness, if not then my optic nerves could have been affected by the high pressure. haiz, i have to come back next month again to monitor the pressure. just now the eye pressure test was damn scary as usual, i took very long to take just 3 readings for each eye. then the student optometrist kept talking to me to distract me, most of the time i just went 'hmmm', 'yah'. lol. but too bad my eye reflex is very good heh, the moment the air spurts out, i immediately close my eye. then he took photos of my eyeball, and the photos turned out gross. i dont even dare to look at them. i dunoe, but i think eyeballs are gross lar.

Haiz, will i go blind? :(

OMG OMG! the person finally uploaded TAR ep 1. heh heh im so excited, but i think it will take at least 10 hours to torrent the file. have to do finish my lab report first though, it's not even 50% done. haiz.

12:35 AM
Haiz the lab report is driving me crazy, cos there are 10 reacting solutions, so everything must duplicate 10 times. i think the whole thing will easily come up to 20 pages. and typing everything out is extremely tedious, what subscript, superscript, fraction etc.. :(

Sigh im downloading the first episode of survivor cooks island using bit torrent right now. it's downloading sooooooooooooo long, heard that it will take about 5 hours to d/l the whole thing. *faint* oh wells better than nothing lar.

I guess i would have to start doing my lab report this weekend, cos this week's one is damn long. there are like more than 10 calculation questions, plus must draw graph and type the entire report out! sian. anw we did rate constant this week, have to work in pairs. we use a water bath, it's a big basin and we need to submerge the solution. yea quite cool cos we dont need to use a bunsen burner. but after which we proceed to the lower temperatures, the reaction's sooooo long, waited for like 20 mins, luckily the lab demo is very nice, she helps us to look out for the reaction while we proceed to the next expt. nearly went bonkers doing the second expt cos we have to add 5 solutions, 3 in diff ratios. 10 sets, must duplicate the timings, that means 10 x 2 = 20 timings. sian. so we took a very long time to do, a guy from my group started whining to his friend that we are always the last ones to go home. haiz.

Anw i think most of the lab demos are quite dao, with the exception of a few. like i asked this lab demo a question cos i cant catch the TA's accent sometime(i think she's from hong kong), she questioned me back. whatever lar, i cant possibly said 'oh cos i cant catch the TA's accent.' what are lab demos for, i thought they are supposed to help us. duh.

Then wed i went to crash xy's life sci lecture cos rw and yc came to nus and they phsyco-ed me to go. lol. i think lsm is quite slack, the lecturer was showing them pictures of plants 80% of the time and the guy in front of me was happily dozing off.

Haiz i guess i need to start mugging, im being too slack already! yeah the 1 week break is coming! i need it desperately to catch up on my school work. haiz.

Doing my lab report now and blogging at the same time, and waiting for america's next top model to start on channel 5. im still quite pissed with channel 5 for not broadcasting survivor and TAR. hmph. im going to boycott channel 5. anw im stuck at my lab report, i dunoe how to do the discussion part. 'discuss the effectiveness of titration', what's there to discuss about? haiz. plus i still got my IT assignment to do, case study on NLB. AND my geo readings which need to be done by tonight. dont even dare to open the link, i think it will be like last time, 20 over pages to read. gosh. it's like a thesis, i dont even understand what the thing is talking about. me and my friend have decided to split the work, heh.

edited: sian i didnt know the show actually starts at 10, missed half of it :(

Haiz i think channel 5 is not going to show Survivor and The Amazing Race this time round already. only 1 week left to the premieres, no trailers or whatsoever. it's because of some race issues that's why channel 5 has decided not to broadcast them. I WANT MY FAVOURITE SHOWS BACK! hmph. :( im still keeping my fingers crossed.

Orh oh i didnt type my lab report out, i wrote it in foolscaps instead. :X did my lap report until 2am last night. actually i tried to type them out in MS word, but i gave up after typing 1 question cos it was too time-consuming.

Today was lab day, had inorganic lab. we were supposed to work inside a fumehood. it's a small compartment where we conduct our experiment. the 2 guys on my left did their titration at a supersonic speed, they finished everything by 4, even though the lab ends at 5. so fast lar! i was very slow, cos i spent half of the time walking around looking for the apparatus, cos the lab is quite big. oh ya i broke a burette today, hahs. i was washing it in the basin and the basin's quite deep. then somehow when i swung it round, clank, the entire tip came off. but the lab demo didnt ask me to pay, i hope they will never rem. hmm, i find that all the lab demos are quite fierce, and strict, with the exception of that malay uncle. the lab demos will walk round the labs, correcting your mistakes. :X

Got to do another lab report again!! must be typed out.

Sian almost vomitted blood doing the lab report. cant even start the first exercise question cos the phrasing is a bit weird. then now instead of using dm3 for volume, we have to use mL?? then concentration becomes mol/mL?? huh? i only know today lar, the lab demo didnt mention anything at all. luckily managed to solve some of the questions now, thanks to fongyu and my tutorial class mate's help. hahs. had the chem quiz today, it's damn hard lar, worse is we have to memorise the periodic table cos it's not given! haiz. guess i would have to spend my weekends memorising the table. argh so mafan, why can they just give us the damn table? oh ya we presented our macdonald case study today, yeah! get it over and done with. the previous tutor let us off 10 mins late, so me and my friend had to run super fast cos the building is quite far away. lol. haiz very sian, tml lessons' soooo long lar, 9-5. haiz. lab again!

Hah, suppose to be studying chem, havent even finish one set of notes, yet im here blogging, cos im soooo bored. there will be a chem quiz this wed, which is counted towards the CAP. haiz. i think there's no point in studying cos i heard that the lecturer sets really tough and unexpected questions. and, i still have to do my lab report, which needs to be handed in by i-dont-know-when, also, i forgot to take down the concentration of a solution, so i cant start doing it. ahh that means i would have to trek all the way to the lab just to take a look at the label, hopefully that container is still there. :X and not only this, i still need to do a case study of macdonald for my IT module, which is due by this wed. so sway that we are the first group. but better to get it over and done with. until now, i still dont know what we are suppose to do, cos one of our project mate havent contact us yet. haiz. oh and there's still a geo project to do. and tutorials! *faint*

11:50 AM
It's september already. what was i doing one year ago? mugging for my prelims. gosh how time flies.

Not much time left.
